REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy ("Policy") is an integral component of the Terms of Service governing your use of Materialism.in. By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the provisions outlined herein.

1. Refunds and Returns

We at Materialism.in prioritize your satisfaction with our products. We understand that situations may arise in which you find it necessary to request a refund or return a product. However, please note that as a general policy, we do not accept exchanges for any products.

2. Defective Items

In the exceptional circumstance that you receive a defective or damaged item, we will accept returns and issue refunds. To be eligible for a return and refund in such cases, you must adhere to the following conditions:

a. Notification: You must notify us of the defect or damage within 5 days from the date of receiving the product. Notification beyond this period will not be eligible for a return or refund.

b. Product Condition: The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

c. Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid proof of purchase, such as an order number, invoice, or receipt, along with a video showcasing the defect. 

3. Return Process

To initiate a return for a defective item, please follow these steps:

a. Contact Us: Notify us of the defect by contacting our customer support team at hello@materialism.in. You must provide a detailed description of the defect and include your proof of purchase.

b. Return Authorization: Upon reviewing your request, we will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number. This number must be clearly marked on the package containing the returned item.

c. Return Shipment: You are responsible for securely packaging the item and shipping it back to the address provided with the RA number. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of the returned item.

4. Refund Process

Upon receiving the returned defective item and inspecting it, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 7-8 business days.
